Those ‘convenient’ pre-packed supermarket salads are doused in chlorine then preserved in bags with lowered oxygen levels, depleting vital nutrients.

MLF - Staying Green

WE at MyLocalFarm.co.uk are commited to an number of green initiatives in the local area and are please to announce that we have increased the amount of recycling. We now recycle all our cardboard and plastic every week as well as encouraging our customers to recyle their weekly box. We work in ascociation with ACE Recycle who are based in Alloa.
 
Cut You Carbon

We are pleasd to introduce Going Carbon Neutral Stirling (GCNS). GCNS is a programme of Keep Scotland Beautiful supporting local communities in the Stirling area to significantly reduce their carbon footprint. Working with community groups, individuals, businesses and the local council, GCNS will build on the foundations of the excellent work done by community volunteers to provide information, advice and guidance on how to achieve carbon reductions.
